Do you have any trips planned for this summer? As I just came back from Bali, Nicaragua and Portugal and for now I didn’t plan a big trip yet, BUT I’m going to Portugal again this June for some surfing, YAY!
I really try to make some better choices fashion wise (believe me, I’m not there yet but I’m trying!) and with swimwear this could be quite a challenge for sure, but I found Röhnisch swimwear, which is pretty awesome! (I was already the biggest fan of their sportswear!)
Röhnisch is a beautiful sustainable brand that makes sure that their production has fair working conditions and environmental protection. Also Röhnisch has entered a long-term cooperation with the organization Hand in Hand with the goal of raising an entire village in India out of poverty. Hand in Hand’s vision is a world without poverty and child labour. I think it’s very important that more and more companies are trying to make a difference and take responsibility for their actions throughout the world.
All beachwear from Röhnisch (2018) is made of ECONYL® yarn and elastane and is ocean friendly. The ECONYL® – fiber is made of 100% regenerated waste material like old fishing nets or other discarded nylons. The black top I’m wearing on the first pic (which is perfect for surfing by the way) is partly made of plastic waste from the ocean. How cool is that? It’s my favorite surf outfit and I’m definitely bring this one on my next trip!
And what about you guys? Do you try to make better choices fashion wise?
